House of Fraser uses MicroStrategy to run 18,000 reports daily.

House of Fraser has relied on MicroStrategy as their system of record for enterprise reporting since 2013. Prior to the rollout of their nGenBI program at the start of 2017, the company embraced a "retail is detail" approach to analytics and had a large, complex reporting environment that required running more than 18,000 reports on a daily basis. The nGenBI program aimed to overhaul their approach to analytics by simplifying, visualizing, and modernizing their analytics environment. By rolling out self-service analytics, House of Fraser has been able to tap into massive quantities of previously underutilized data, dramatically cut down the time it takes to build new dashboards, and change the way that employees across the business consume data and analytics on a day-to-day basis. This helps the team at House of Fraser analyze new data sources, identify and fix process inefficiencies, and bring analytics into everyday decision-making.

Using MicroStrategy's platform, our employees can pull together a data set, apply it to a data model, and visualize it all within minutes; that is a huge step forward for us. Self-service data discovery enables our business users, regardless of their technical skill or role, to take analytics into their own hands and quickly answer complex business questions on the fly.
