Falken Tire used MicroStrategy to build an iPad-based mobile app for their salespeople. It combines data from ERP and sales systems with tire market data to give salespeople on-the-go access to critical information. The application is used to tell a story about their business. Reps can show fitments for popular vehicles in an area, prices for competitor’s products, and information on why Falken brand tires are a better fit or would yield higher margins for the tire shop, dealer, or distributor. By building relationships and sharing the company’s story, Falken stays top of mind when a customer needs to make a purchase.
