East Coast Metal Distributors: Riding the Mobile Wave to Become a Data Driven Company
Three and a half years ago, East Coast Metal Distributors attended MicroStrategy World and heard Michael Saylor give a keynote address on the coming mobile wave in BI. They took that to heart and made it the focus of their efforts. As an HVAC equipment vendor, East Coast Metal Distributors' goal is to bring comfort to peoples’ homes and to be the supplier of choice for contractors across the Southeast. Before 2014, they had limited reporting capabilities and were reactive to customer trends. But by September 2014, they had rolled out MicroStrategy Web to more than 40% of the company.
