MicroStrategy stood side-by-side our technical partner, Oracle, at their Redwood Shores, CA headquarters this week for the public launch of their 12C In-Memory option announcement. Oracle’s Larry Ellison delivered their latest database offering to a crowd of more than 400, with thousands more watching live online.
Ellison highlighted MicroStrategy as a key partner in Oracle’s In Memory beta program. The MicroStrategy Analytics Platform leverages many of the advanced capabilities of Oracle’s SQL engine, allowing for extremely fast analysis. At one point in Ellison’s presentation, a slide featured a quote from our president, Paul Zolfaghari, commenting on our collaboration leading to improved performance times.

Following the press briefing, MicroStrategy’s Director of Partner Engineering, Jochen Demuth, participated in a roundtable discussion moderated by Oracle SVP, Juan Loaiza. Throughout the discussion, Jochen highlighted our long-standing technical partnership with Oracle and how tighter integration has benefitted our customer base, delivering solutions with dramatically faster query times, enhanced multi-tenancy support, and a host of advanced analytics functionality that wouldn’t be possible if not for this high level of technical cooperation.
MicroStrategy values our technical alliance with Oracle and appreciates the opportunity to be involved in the early stages of their In Memory product development cycle. We are proud to count some of biggest users of big data among our customers and are firmly positioned to support major releases, such as Oracle’s 12C In Memory option, from the start.
