Welcome to the new Microstrategy Community!

Last month MicroStrategy launched a beta version of a new community platform to our customers, partners, developers, and the rest of the MicroStrategy ecosystem.   The launch has gone exceedingly well and we are VERY excited at the prospect of opening up the lines of communication in an open, collaborative environment.

With over 30,000 unique visitors since the launch and over 10,000 member logins, the community is already becoming an exciting and vibrant place to learn about “all things MicroStrategy” and to connect with peers, colleagues, and experts from around the globe.  The community of course is still relatively young yet this is a big step forward for MicroStrategy and we look forward to connecting with you online there!

The launch brings a number of new and exciting capabilities:

  • New ways of collaborating including discussion forums, blogging, polls, and a platform for additional capabilities like idea sharing
  • A completely open and searchable community so members and non-members can find the best content by search engine without logging in
  • Combined discussion forums and knowledge base in a common searchable area.
  • A significantly improved search functionality in breadth and scale, making it easier to find and access information.
  • A new reputation and badging system allowing members to enhance their professional reputation as they share their expertise and best practices with other members.
  • Social sharing buttons to easily share great discussions, articles, and blogs with your friends and colleagues

We look forward to having you join the new MicroStrategy Community to share your thoughts, suggestions, case stories, new ideas, best practices, tips and tricks, rules of the road, cool dashboards, exciting data visualizations, and more!

To get started, our intrepid Community Managers Lili McDonald and Daphne Tan have written some great intro blogs and recorded ‘how to” videos that will help get you up and running quickly.

Please join us in the new community!  You can start by just searching and reading great articles and discussions, like the best content and start earning points, and then as you get comfortable, start sharing your comments, answers, and even blogging about your experiences.  The community wants to hear from you!

And as you learn and explore, we welcome your feedback -- start a thread in the community feedback section.

See you online!
