Zero-Click Insights: Creating Simple Cards with HyperIntelligence

HyperIntelligence is going to revolutionize the way organizations access data and make informed decisions. Zero-click analytics will democratize data throughout the enterprise, making insights available instantly, even to those without data skills.

In January, MicroStrategy released MicroStrategy 2019, a platform that introduced this paradigm shift in analytics. A mid-year update in July brought HyperIntelligence to mobile devices, the Microsoft Office environment, and the web, which enabled organizations to truly make data analytics available to 100% of the enterprise.

How? Currently, many non-data-literate team members struggle when they need to quickly find information or make fast, informed decisions. With HyperIntelligence, users with no previous analytics experience can use zero-click intelligence in no time, because the data comes directly to the user—no need for them to search through corporate systems. Information becomes accessible within the user’s existing workflow, whether they are using a desktop, mobile device, voice assistant, or even augmented reality (AR).

HyperIntelligence cards can be built for any category—including clients/customers, employees, products, cases, and more. The cards can include whatever information will be useful to users, such as names, ID numbers, and various statistics and KPIs. Users can simply hover over a word in a web application such as Outlook, Slack, or a website, and the information they need will be presented to them on a card.

Putting HyperIntelligence Cards to Use

To demonstrate how simple this is, I have created a card using public data from a basic Google search. Using HyperIntelligence, you can see at a glance that I can now draw critical information on six US presidents.

When ordered chronologically and translated from Spanish to English, we can see some really interesting information about each president’s tenure. John F. Kennedy was President for less than three years, and yet enjoyed a phenomenal approval rating during a time of challenging global tensions. We can also see his role before he took office, his political party, and his age. The card draws data and photo from Wikipedia.

Here’s the card on Ronald Reagan:

If we want to draw up Barack Obama’s details, we get the same data points from the same source on his two-term tenure:

And now let’s look at the developing card of current US President, Donald Trump:

We can explore history even further with cards, looking at past presidents such as Abraham Lincoln and George Washington, although their approval ratings are missing as their tenure pre-dates those records:

You can imagine the possibilities for custom cards at your organization: from customer information for sales, services, and marketing, to employee cards for HR and meetings, to product, account, or sales information.
