The Identity and Telemetry SDK allows you to embed MicroStrategy Badge and Communicator features and functionality into your own enterprise applications. Integrate Badge and Communicator capabilities in your web application, including QR code and authentication codes.

Extend to any PACS

Open virtually any connected door: MicroStrategy Badge comes with out-of-the box connections to the most physical access control (PACS) systems. And if you want to extend Badge functionality to an unsupported PACS, leverage the Badge PACS open APIs to build a custom integration.

How do I request access to the SDK module?

What platforms/operating systems do you support?

We currently support Java for Web and iOS and Android for mobile. More platform supports are underway.

Payment

Does it cost to use SDK?

Accessing and downloading Identity & Discovery SDKs does not cost a thing. You will pay per usage of the Identity Platform.

Submission and Development

What happens once I register to access the SDK?

Once you register, someone from our team will reach out to you to understand your goals and objectives and how the Identity & Discovery SDKs can help you achieve those.

Do I need to comply with any content or use case policy?

As long as you have accepted our terms of services you will be fine. We are legally not permitted to have these SDKs distributed to certain geographical regions in the world. Once you complete the registration form, one of our associates will get in-touch with you to ensure validity of our legal distribution limit.

Can I speak with Identity developers to help with my development?

Releasing a New Version

How often can I expect to see an update?

The MicroStrategy platform is built using the Agile method and as such frequent small increments are released every couple of weeks. Some increments only include defect fixes, some include enhancements.

Are the APIs going to be backward compatible? If so, for how long?

The MicroStrategy platform team works very hard to ensure backward compatibility except when security could be compromised. When backward compatibility can not be achieved with the older APIs, new APIs will be built instead and the old ones marked deprecated.

How do I know when an update is announced?

We are working on a system that will allow us to notify the developer community about our updates as they become available. In the meantime, keep in touch with us and ask us every 4 weeks for any update.

How can I choose an updated version of the SDK?

Contact your MicroStrategy representative to get access to the updated SDK of your choice.
