Standard Chartered faced a myriad of challenges when trying to inform business users with secure, governed data. Working with MicroStrategy, the bank was able to implement self-service reports, as well as create a SmartBot Application to help democratize data and bring insights directly to users. Using Natural Language, the application is able to answer questions in seconds, referencing data store securely in the bank’s MicroStrategy environment. This application is now used across the organization. For their innovative application, Standard Chartered was presented with a Customer Award at MicroStrategy World 2021.
