Create Default Content Groups for Library Users

With MicroStrategy Workstation, administrators can now easily create and manage groups of content across the organization. Watch to learn about defining content groups for specific end users.

With this release, we have continued to invest in enhanced design for custom applications. Administrators can now create unique groups of content at the enterprise-level and determine specific recipient access:

  • Administrators can create and automatically send predefined content groups to specific groups of users in MicroStrategy Library.
  • Content groups can be defined for a custom application to limit the content that can be viewed by end users in the Sidebar menu of all Library clients, including mobile. For example, the application for the Sales team may be locked to two groups.
  • Content Groups are MicroStrategy objects that can be migrated between environments.
