Private Classes

If more than six people in your organization need training in the same course, it may cost less to bring a MicroStrategy instructor to you rather than the other way around.

We can hold private classes for any of the courses in our catalog. The location is up to you: your company headquarters, an offsite location, or even over the web via Microsoft® Live Meeting. We also can customize the course material itself, as described below.

Course Customization

People can learn MicroStrategy faster and use it more if the training reflects their own business environment.

We can customize any of our standard public courses for you. This includes the instructor-led courses in our catalog as well as any of our self-paced online training.

Custom programs can be paid for with learning units. Please contact MicroStrategy Education or your MicroStrategy account representative to learn more.

MicroStrategy offers prepaid education credits called "learning units." You can use these learning units for any kind of MicroStrategy Education services, including our standard technical courses, certification programs, and education solutions.

Each type of education service has its own learning unit redemption value. For example, one day of public training costs one learning unit. Therefore, someone would need two learning units to attend the two-day Desktop: Reporting Essentials course.

Education solutions work similarly. For example, we provide one day of course customization services for only four learning units.

Learning units are sold in sets. The bigger the set, the larger the discount you receive off our list prices. For example, a set of 500 learning units represents a 42 percent discount.

Learning units are valid for 12 months from date of invoice. MicroStrategy tracks learning unit accounts and sends regular balance updates.
