Impact Analysis Reduces Risk
Impact analysis can be conducted to have detailed dependency information for all objects that will be affected by a move, providing an accurate assessment of migration risk. Impact analysis can be carried out in read only mode allowing administrators to conduct reviews on BI applications without affecting end users and creating testing plants for testers. Administrators can use these reports to develop strategies to mitigate migration risk and easily communicate object changes to users.
Seamless Migration in All Languages
As BI applications expand in scope, many applications need to be simultaneously maintained in multiple languages for users across different geographies access these systems. With Packages, files can be sent from one environment to another without a live connection or any instantaneous coordination between teams. The package is sent and is applied whenever the user specifies, in a safe environment.
