MicroStrategy Certifications
MicroStrategy Certified Project Designers (CPD)
CPDs are certified on the use of MicroStrategy Architect to build MicroStrategy projects. CPD status is granted to those individuals who have successfully passed the MicroStrategy Project Designer Exam. MicroStrategy endorses these individuals as CPDs.
MicroStrategy Certified Report Developers (CRD)
CRDs are certified on the use of MicroStrategy Desktop and MicroStrategy Report Services to build report and document objects. CRD status is granted to those individuals who have successfully passed the MicroStrategy Report Developer Exam. MicroStrategy endorses these individuals as CRDs.
MicroStrategy Certified Platform Administrators (CPA)
CPAs are certified on the ability to administer and configure a project using MicroStrategy Intelligence Server and Narrowcast Server functionality. CPA status is granted to those individuals who have successfully passed the MicroStrategy Platform Administrator Exam. MicroStrategy endorses these individuals as CPAs.
MicroStrategy Certified Engineers (MCE):
MCEs are certified on the core products of the MicroStrategy platform: MicroStrategy Architect, MicroStrategy Desktop, MicroStrategy Report Services, MicroStrategy Intelligence Server, and MicroStrategy Narrowcast Server. Those companies that have consultants deemed MicroStrategy Certified Engineers are qualified to implement entire business intelligence solutions using MicroStrategy technology. MCE status is granted to those individuals who have successfully passed the MicroStrategy Certified Engineer Program. MicroStrategy endorses these individuals as MCEs.
MicroStrategy Certified Global Alliance Consultants (MCGAC):
This program is available only to Global Alliance partners and provides them with introductory training on the MicroStrategy platform. MCGACs are certified on the use of MicroStrategy Architect to build basic MicroStrategy projects, the use of MicroStrategy Desktop to build basic reports and documents, and the basic administration of a MicroStrategy implementation. MCGAC status is granted to those individuals who have successfully passed the MicroStrategy Certified Global Alliance Consultant Exam. This program does not count towards MCE status and is independent of the focus-area and comprehensive certifications offered by MicroStrategy Education.
