How do I decide which workshop to attend?

What is the Introduction to Visual Data Discovery Workshop?
This is a 90-minute hands-on workshop geared towards business people who are interested in learning how to find answers from their data quickly and easily. Participants will use Visual Insight, MicroStrategy’s self-service business analytics solution, to explore their data, discover new business insights and create dashboards in a matter of minutes.

Does this workshop series qualify as a continuing education credit or formal MicroStrategy training?
No, these workshops do not qualify as a continuing education credit or formal training. No certificates will be issued upon completion of this event.
How can I register? Do I need a MicroStrategy Account?
Use the Workshop Schedule to register. You will be prompted to either log in to your existing MicroStrategy account or to set up a new account if you do not have one already. Setting up a new account is easy and takes just a minute. You must use a corporate email address in order to set up your account. Once you have submitted your account information, you will receive an account verification code via email with instructions. Once your account is activated, you can continue with your application.
What happens once I register?
Once you have registered, you will receive an email confirming that your registration was received. Seating is limited so unfortunately not all registrants can be placed in the workshop to which they have registered. Upon receiving your registration, we will check seating availability for this event. If seating is no longer available, you will be placed on a waitlist for the next open seat. If we are able to place you into the event, you will receive a final confirmation email that includes the venue address, times and important event information. If placed on the waitlist, you will be notified if a seat becomes available. You will receive email notification regarding your placement status within two weeks from registering or prior to the class date, whichever timeframe is shorter depending on when you registered.
What should I do if I need to cancel my registration?
If you can no longer attend and need to cancel, please email a cancellation notice including your name, class date, and class location to events@microstrategy.com.
What should I do if I have problems registering online?
If you have any issues with our online registration system, please email webmaster@microstrategy.com and include your name, email address, event you are registering for, and the issue you are experiencing. If possible, please include a screenshot of the problem as well. We will work to address your issue as soon as possible.
What if one of my colleagues would also like to attend the workshop I am registered for?
What should I bring the day of the class?
All materials, including a computer, are provided for each attendee. You are not required to bring anything except yourself! For those attending Introduction to the Mobile App Platform, please bring your iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch or Android and its charging device with you. If you do not have your own device, iPads will be available onsite to use during this workshop. Lunch is provided.
