MicroStrategy’s DSS Partners Program Celebrates Successful Fourth Quarter
Channels Program Thrives with Addition of New Systems Integration Partners and Establishment of
VIENNA, Va., February 12, 1999 — MicroStrategy® Incorporated (NASDAQ: MSTR), a leading worldwide provider of mission-critical decision support systems, announced today that its DSS Partners™ program experienced notable growth in Q4 1998. Overall, 18 new systems integrators signed partnership agreements with MicroStrategy, bringing the DSS Partners program membership to over 150 systems integrators, value-added resellers and platform partners. In the fourth quarter, MicroStrategy also developed a "Partner of the Month" program to recognize partners whose contributions to MicroStrategy’s industry success have been outstanding.

"Partner of the Month" Award Acknowledges Exceptional Efforts
In October, MicroStrategy kicked off its "Partner of the Month" award program by recognizing Amaxis, a DAS Company, for its exemplary innovation in healthcare solutions. Amaxis developed an Enterprise Suite based on MicroStrategy’s DSS Suite™ that has been instrumental in deploying decision support applications for Allergan, Dura Pharmaceuticals, and Sepracor.
Retek Information Systems, a leading supplier of enterprise-wide retail solutions for large and mid-sized retailers worldwide, took November "Partner of the Month" honors for its work in the retail industry. Included in its list of customers are JCrew, Michael’s, Maurice’s, and Talbot’s.
December’s award went to Systech, a leading data warehousing and decision support consulting firmthat has developed MicroStrategy-based solutions for several well-known companies since joining DSS Partners in February 1998. Among Systech clients using MicroStrategy technology are Authentic Fitness Corporation, Guess, Earthlink, and Warnaco.
