MicroStrategy’s DSS World™ to Feature Over 35 Partner Exhibits at SolutionsExpo

Leading MicroStrategy Partners to Demonstrate Integrated Data Warehousing, Decision Support and E-Business Solutions for Vertical Industries

VIENNA, VA, October 19, 1998 — MicroStrategy Incorporated (NASDAQ: MSTR), a leading worldwide provider of mission-critical decision support systems, announced today that the SolutionsExpo being held at DSS World – one of the most comprehensive events in the industry focused on data warehousing and decision support solutions, products and technology trends – will feature over 35 exhibits from industry-leading partners. DSS World will be held October 26-30, 1998, in the new Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center located in downtown Washington, D.C., near the White House.

At the industry-wide solutions exposition, partners will highlight their best-of-breed solutions built using MicroStrategy’s comprehensive decision support architecture as a platform. These solutions cover a broad spectrum of vertical industry applications in areas including retail, telecommunications/utilities, finance, and healthcare, as well as cross-industry applications such as enterprise resource planning (ERP), e-commerce and one-to-one marketing. The SolutionsExpo will also give attendees the opportunity to learn more about the latest developments in MicroStrategy’s technology and services departments. Various functional areas of MicroStrategy will be exhibiting at the SolutionsExpo to share consulting best practices, introduce customers to MicroStrategy’s new web-based technical support center, and demonstrate MicroStrategy’s latest product, DSS Broadcaster™.
