MicroStrategy Web MMT offers over 20 lessons, educating end users on the complete feature set and functionality of the MicroStrategy products for end-users. All lessons include an introduction with objectives; a simulated interface; step by step instructions; report interactivity with visual highlighting using a blue arrow to indicate the next click; detailed information with visual highlighting using a green box of the feature under discussion; and a summary with options for testing or learning more.

MicroStrategy Web MMT also offers over 20 tests within a perpetual, self-paced test environment. All tests include a test introduction; a simulated interface; step by step instructions; report interactivity with incorrect answer feedback loops; visual highlighting only where necessary; and a test summary with scores, advice on improving scores; and links to next lessons.

Sophisticated and Customizable Lesson Progress and Test Score Logging

Lesson progress is designed so that when a user completes a lesson that progress is logged to the reporting database. There are no penalties for stopping a lesson halfway, or repeating a lesson. Test scoring works in a similar fashion. Test scores are only recorded at the completion of the test. If the user has clicked in the wrong place they will be given a hint, but no visual clues. MicroStrategy tracks lesson completion and test scores to a central database for reporting.

End users can learn at a convenient time of their choosing, rather than having to be present in a classroom on a certain day and time. The lessons additionally have been designed to fit in with what is normally a highly interactive day of emails, telephone calls, visits and meetings. Users can stop and restart their lessons at any time, and they can revisit lesson content to reinforce comprehension. Lesson typically takes 5-20 minutes, depending on the complexity of the lesson, and the user's level of experience.
