Technical Writers
MicroStrategy Technical Writers create, edit, and maintain technical software documentation for our high-performance Business Intelligence Products. A team spirit is a must.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Experience writing technical documentation;
- Excellent writing skills;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact frequently with technical research and development personnel;
- AAbility to work productively in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment;
- Ability to problem-solve and work independently with minimal supervision;
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills;
- A plus if candidate has knowledge of: Visio, HTML, ASP, JSP, JavaScript, Java, SQL, Visual Basic, C++, UNIX
Job Duties (include but not limited to):
- Work with Developers, Quality Engineers and Program Managers to drive the scope and direction of product end-user documentation;
- Analyze, interpret, compose, and edit information to develop documentation in various media;
- Gather knowledge about customer documentation needs and produce usable polished content
