Human Resources Associate

Department: Human Resources
Location: Vienna, US

Basic Function: The Human Resources Associate will be responsible for the onboarding of new hires into the organization and for supporting the HR department in the areas of immigration, employee relations, career development, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) maintenance and other functional HR areas.  This individual will be team orientated and will have strong customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment.


Job Duties (include but not limited to):



  • Responsible for onboarding new employees hired into all levels of corporate and field based positions

  • Assemble new hire packets and maintain forms library

  • Conduct New Hire Orientation for headquarters and field based employees

  • Process new hire paperwork including employment eligibility (I9), tax forms and corporate documents

  • Enter new hire data into the HRIS and maintain accurate records throughout employee lifecycle

  • Enroll new employees into corporate training and deliver training materials

  • Assign compensation plans to new employees

  • Create new employee folders and maintain accurate folders throughout employee lifecycle

  • Maintain personnel records and complete general filing

  • Provide general administrative support to HR department

  • Assists in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and conducting compliance audits

  • Perform related duties and special projects as assigned by HR Generalists and Managers

Job Requirements:



  • Bachelor’s degree; Human Resources or Business degree preferred

  • Desire to learn and progress in Human Resources

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills- Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Power Point
