Department: Cloud Intelligence

Basic Function: The MicroStrategy Cloud Business Specialist is instrumental in growing the Cloud business. This individual works with MSTR account teams in the field and assists with sizing, qualifying, and pricing Cloud environments based on customer requirements. They also provide assistance working with Legal, Revenue Recognition, Operations, and Sales Leadership in closing Cloud deals.

Job Duties (include but not limited to):

• Help close Cloud business for MicroStrategy


• Work directly with Account and Engagement teams to accurately size and price Cloud environments


• Ensure accuracy of Cloud Pipeline in SalesForce.com


• Help guide account teams through Cloud pricing parameters and sales process


• Build the value of the Cloud solution with both customer and Account team


• Provide Cloud overview to customers or internal resources when necessary


• Work with internal resources on pricing and pipeline management


• Assume additional responsibilities as directed by management 

Job Requirements:

• Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree.


• Must be able to work with a diverse team: this position requires interfacing with multiple departments


• Excellent leadership, presentation, organization and team collaboration skills


• Minimum two years’ sales experience


• Detail oriented, inquisitive, persistent and able to learn new concepts quickly


• Ablility to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks


• Handle large transaction volumes without losing focus


• MicroStrategy and Data Warehouse knowledge and experience preferred
