Department: Sales
Location: Rosemont, US

Basic Function: Sell MicroStrategy Business Intelligence software products and services to new and existing clients in the small & medium business channel.

Job Duties (include but not limited to): 

• Sell MicroStrategy Business Intelligence software products and services to new and existing SMB clients as defined by MicroStrategy
  
• Sell most if not all deals through the MicroStrategy Reseller Channel
  
• Conduct business development through lead generation and qualification for a defined geographic territory
  
• Cold-call into named accounts owned by the MicroStrategy Account Managers as well as non-named target accounts to identify and qualify prospective customers and penetrate major significant target prospects
  
• Work closely with Sales Consultants to discover, identify and meet customer requirements
  
• Establish relationships with Partners in support of generating license and consulting revenue for a defined geographic territory
  
• Maintain daily activities in Field Sales Portal, tracking interactions with prospects and customers

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional selling experience in software sales
  
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
  
• Experience in sales preferred
  
• Goal-oriented, highly confident, self-motivated
  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
  
• Excellent organizational skills
  
• A passion and understanding of the IT and Internet market
