Basic Function: The MicroStrategy Associate Engagement Manager is accountable for the success of customer engagements under their supervision. This individual works with MicroStrategy Cloud customers ensure that their experience is positive and that their environment is functioning properly through the build out and development process.

Job Duties (include but not limited to):

• Onboard, support and interface with Cloud Intelligence customers


• Assess customer requirements to ensure customer environments are sized properly


• Work with the customer to gather environment configuration settings requirement to set up and build out their cloud solution


• Evaluate trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value


• Facilitate all operational checkpoint activities throughout the lifecycle of projects


• Assess and resolve all high priority project risks as they are encountered


• Continually update relevant business stakeholder of project status


• Represent MicroStrategy to the customer and work with the customer to resolve Cloud service related issues.  


• Professionally document meetings, requirements, plans, schedules and incidents as necessary to drive ‘next steps’ and to keep stakeholders informed


• Provide periodic job status summary and progress report to management


• Assume additional responsibilities as directed by management 

Job Requirements:

• Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree/ Master’s or Doctorate preferred (Computer Science, Math, or Engineering a plus) GPA: 3.5+


• Strong creativity


• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team


• Excellent leadership, presentation, organization and team collaboration skills


• Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions to resolve them in a timely manner


• Comfort with ambiguity, frequent change and/or unpredictability


• Strong analytical, detail oriented, persistent and not afraid to ask questions. Able to analyze, implement and improve complex systems/processes


• Able to define, document and support systems, projects, policies and procedures


• MicroStrategy and Data Warehouse support experience preferred
