Department: Network and Applications Engineering
Location: Vienna, US

Basic Function: Serve as a highly motivated and effective software engineer on the Research and Development team, and have passion for securing large scale solutions from conception to delivery. The candidate will operate in a cohesive team environment with the overriding goal of ensuring our products and services are secure against current and emerging threats. A thorough understanding of security technologies on major OS (including but not limited to Windows, Linux), an understanding of security architectures and experience deploying complex enterprise solutions will be valuable assets for the right candidate. The candidate will also research security related areas in social media platforms and apps, mobile apps, and social trends.

Job Duties (include but not limited to):

• Develop and assess for the security of technical infrastructure security solutions, including the design and architecture of enterprise applications


• Accept and lead complex assignments with extensive organizational impact


• Anticipate and respond to emerging threats with innovative security solutions


• Influence and drive security solutions across organizational boundaries


• Must be able to work autonomously as well as in team environments, often in stressful, high impact situations

Job Requirements:

• BS degree required in Computer Science or related major, Master’s preferred 


• Candidate must possess 5+years software development experience working with Windows security infrastructure


• Knowledge of TCP/IP, Kerberos, PKI, AD, Windows customer login in the enterprise environment is required


• 5+ years professional experience in C/C++


• Solid understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, algorithms and security


• Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential and required


• An understanding of ISO27002 standards and related assessment methodologies is desired


• CISSP, SANS certifications, Microsoft technology certifications and other security certifications are desired


• Passion for system security


• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills are required


• Sound program management, analysis, problem resolution, team building, judgment and decision making skills
