Department: Network and Applications Engineering
Location: Vienna, US
Basic Function: Serve as a highly motivated and effective Research Analyst on the Research and Analysis team. Candidate will research areas that include social media platforms and apps, mobile apps, social trends, emerging technologies, data enrichment, competitive analysis, and market placement. The candidate will also support program administration, budgeting, compliance, and operational activities for a variety of activities and projects across the company.
Job Duties (include but not limited to):
- Research emerging technologies, platforms, apps and trends for social media platforms and mobile apps
- Research and analyze data enrichment possibilities and requests
- Perform a wide variety of IT planning, budget, and reconciliation functions involving the formulation, justification, and execution of programs that support overall IT objectives and operations
- Interface with Legal, Risk Management, Technology, Finance, Contracts, and other departments to provide project and resources coordination to ensure the successful execution of strategic programs
- Work closely with Finance department on IT related financial activities, including budgeting, capital expenditure management, purchase order management, invoices reconciliation, and accrual management
- Assist with the management of third party contractual relationships including vendor and service provider agreement requirements
- Facilitate and support continuous planning in the current and multiyear program process
- Report and track status, efficiency, and effectiveness of IT program execution per budget plans
- Provide independent IT program assessments that serve as the basis for milestone decision
- Provide independent Project Management as assigned
- Ability to work with a wide range of individuals from Executives to support staff
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Candidate must possess 0-1 years experience working with business operational programs
- Competent user of productivity software (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Ability to synthesize data and present findings and recommendations
- Ability to multitask in a fast placed environment
- Ability to work well in an IT organizational environment with strong collaborative and team orientation
- Ability to work independently, manage tasks to timely completion, and raise issues to management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Detail and process oriented with a bias towards information quality
- Ability to provide as well as receive feedback at all levels
