Department: Sales
Location: Vienna, US
Basic Function: Sell MicroStrategy Business Intelligence software products and services to new and existing clients.
Job Duties (include but not limited to):
- Work collaboratively with Channel Resellers to sell MicroStrategy Business Intelligence software products and services to new and existing clients in the midmarket space
- Identify and properly qualify business opportunities
- Present business solutions at the client executive level
- Assist Reseller in commercial negotiations with clients, and overcome objections for deal closure
- Manage complex sales cycles and multiple engagements simultaneously
- Work with sales consultants to discover, identify and meet customer and prospect requirements
- Responsible for engaging resellers in customer and prospect accounts, and maintaining active and frequent communication with accounts, to ensure proper account management is being delivered by the resellers
- Grow and manage a network of resellers for the assigned region, and engage with team resources to improve sales skill set
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, sales cycle reporting, and sales opportunity assessments, using our sales forecasting system
- Provide project management to ensure the success of the potential or current clients
Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years professional selling experience in technology sales
- Prior experience in a channel sales environment is required
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas
- Successful experience at new account development and account management
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- High levels of social perceptiveness and customer service
- Self driven, motivated and results oriented
- Proven prospecting and sales cycle management skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
- General knowledge of RDBMS, OLAP, client/server, and Web/Internet technologies
