Basic Function: The Manager of Human Resources is responsible for maintaining a competent, motivated workforce by directing staff, developing, evaluating and executing successful human resources processes and systems that support employees’ needs and corporate objectives.
Job Duties (include but not limited to):
- Supervises and coordinates Human Resources function
- Responsible for overseeing full life cycle recruitment efforts including: reviewing and qualifying resumes, interviewing, drafting/negotiating employment contracts, updating/maintaining HR database
- Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
- Oversees compensation program
- Oversees and administer annual/quarterly performance review process
- Oversees employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing
- Participates in staff meetings and attends other quarterly field kick-off meetings
- Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements and efficiency of personnel and HR processes
- Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database
- Maintains compliance with local labor laws
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned

- 10 years of work experience in a Human Resources functions, 5 years in HR management
- Excellent knowledge of HR practices and principles, and all applicable employment law, pay, benefits, health, and safety laws and regulations

- Weekly Communication with International Subsidiaries (Country Managers)
- Weekly submission of progress reports to EVP HR
- Maintenance of HR Data Integrity in Database & Website
- Timely Completion of Assigned Tasks
- Completion of/Adherence to goals, objectives, and metrics as defined in the HR Plan
- Ability to Conduct Interviews and Effectively Recruit for the Organization

MicroStrategy is an Equal Opportunity Employer Basic Function: The Asst Manager/ Junior Manager is responsible for senior level management of critical business client groups in the Beijing Center. Responsibilities include; executing HR objectives, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, talent planning/workforce analysis, learning and development and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
Job duties (include but not limited to):
• Client Group Partnership: Partner with client group to execute human capital strategy. Develop effective relationships with leaders within client group. Influence matters relating to human resources. Provide coaching when appropriate.
• Involved in campus recruiting and the activities surrounding it
• HR Operations Execution: Accountable for execution of all human resources operations within client group including HRIS and other systems.
• Employee HR Contact: Knowledge expert and advisor to employees in client group on human resources topics. Primary HR contact for all client group employees.
• Employee Relations: Partner with client group on all employee relations matters including voluntary and involuntary terminations. Work collaboratively with Legal partners to develop resolution strategies.
• Performance Management: Accountable for completion of quarterly and annual performance planning within client group including communication, timelines, training and tools. Provide analytics related to performance management. Review written performance reviews and follow up with managers and employees for diagnosis of development needs and coaching.
• Compensation and benefits: Accountable for completion of compensation and benefits planning within client group. Complete analysis of employee compensation recommendations and coordinate management review of outcomes. Partner with client groups to review internal and market compensation alignment.
• Talent Planning: Proactive talent planning including internal talent moves, external hiring needs, career development and succession planning.
• Workforce Analysis: Provide client group with workforce analysis including data gathering, assessment, design, impact analysis, change management and effective execution (including administration).
• Learning & Development: Identify learning and development opportunity needs for individuals, groups, departments or at the division level. Influence design and delivery of development opportunities (e.g. – training, mentoring, rotational programs, reward & recognition programs, etc.). Determine appropriate method for measuring impact.
• Organizational Effectiveness: Assessment of organizational effectiveness issues. Provide direction, scope definition and ongoing oversight/management of resources brought in to address people issues. Provide guidance on reorganization decisions including appropriate structure and role design for optimal business performance, talent planning and management, and change management activities (including communication).
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 7 years of work experience as a Senior Human Resources Generalist, Junior HR management and team supervisory experience is a plus as this person may lead a team in future
• Excellent knowledge of HR practices and principles, and all applicable employment, pay, benefits, health, and safety laws and regulations in the China
• Experience with administering and maintaining performance management and compensation programs
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written English communication skills as person needs to work closely with regional and HQ teams
• High level of integrity
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experience in the technology industry a plus.
