Basic Function: Serves as the business system analyst for the internal Revenue Management System and assists with end user support troubleshooting issues, and assists with the revenue recognition and reconciliation between the RMS and the financial ERP (JDEdwards Enterprise One).  In addition, works closely with the system design, development, testing and implementation of updates and enhancements with cross functional teams.

Job Duties (include but not limited to): 

• Serves as the primary business analyst of the internal Revenue Management System and subject matter expert for end user functionality


• Provides training and end user support with the RMS application


• Coordinates all user training and testing as required


• Troubleshoots issues as they arise working with the revenue recognition team


• Requirements gathering and system design documents and workflow for system bugs or enhancements


• Liaison between the revenue recognition team and  IS team


• Cross functional with IS developers responsible for the technical system support


• Testing of system changes prior to end user testing


• Creation and maintenance of end user documentation


• Works with accounting team (end users) for month end accounting activities including reconciliation and management reporting

Job Requirements:

• 5 to 8 years of Accounting, preferable working with revenue recognition in a software company


• Thorough understanding of revenue recognition of deferred revenue and revenue GAAP standards


• Thorough understanding of systems methodology and testing


• BA or BS in Accounting


• Experience with automated accounting systems


• Experience with a systems implementation


• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic world-wide finance community and the ability to work with various cultures


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
