Basic Function:  Contribute, as part of a team, towards our goal of providing customers with products that exceed their quality standards.

Job Duties (include but not limited to):

• Create test documents
  
• Research and identify flaws in our products before they are released to the public; participate in the analysis and resolution of issues
  
• Design and maintain test suites based on product specifications
  
• Setup test machines for Windows and Unix test
  
• Support Unix installation acceptance test
  
• Support platform acceptance tests
  
• Support interoperability and compatibility test
  
• Log and track issues found during the test
  
• Document methodologies, best configurations and practices, tools, etc
  
• Oversee and participate in the tracking of issues logged internally and by customers

Job Requirements:

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Science (Master’s degree a plus)
  
• At least 18 months of experience working as a Quality Engineer, with the ability to take on progressive responsibilities
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
  
• Strong analytical skills
  
• Process oriented and ability to pay close attention to details
  
• Work well in teams
  
• Deep understanding of one or more of our products
  
• Must have Experience in at least three or more of the following:
  
• Unix and NT operating systems
  
• HTTP and application servers
  
• Databases
  
• Network applications and equipment
  
• Quality Engineering
  
• Automated test tools (Rational Robot)
  
• Knowledge of basic programming (e.g. Java, XML, HTML, ASP, VB, C++)
